Filigree groove structure
Noble woods
The fluting - the filigree groove structure - is the defining design element of the Classic line. Classic writing instruments are available with a finely fluted barrel made of ebony, Pernambuco, Grenadilla and Macassar wood, or as a fully platinum-plated version or made of solid Sterling silver.
Thanks to their long growth phase, the noble woods are extremely hard and resistant. Their individual grain, beautifully accentuated by the platinum-plated finishes, makes each pen unique.
